Overview
Gulf Coast's largest sporting competition with over 400 athletes competing in over 20 different sports
Volunteers needed to facilitate events and encourage athletes competing in track and field, softball throw, and wheelchair races; volunteers also help set up/tear down awards, opening ceremonies, banquet & dance and the athlete village. Approximately 250 - 300 volunteers are needed for this event.
All shifts are on volunteer/personal time. Friday, May 1 shift takes place during regular work hours. No chargelines are provided for participation.

Saturday Shifts, May 2, 2015
7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Opening Ceremonies, Athlete Events
11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Athlete Events, Event tear down (end time approximate)
3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Banquet & Dance Set Up
Previous experience appreciated, but not required. All training is provided on site, the day of the event.

- If you can only cover a partial shift - please sign up for the one closest to the one that meets your needs. Volunteers are needed all throughout the day.
- If you cannot stay for the entire shift, please be sure that you inform your event lead AND have identified and briefed the volunteer taking your position. Event leads will work with the Volunteer lead to have someone fill your slot if you have to leave early.
- Friends and family are welcome to participate. Volunteers under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- You can sign up for multiple shifts.
- Volunteers asked to wear a Space Center Volunteers (SCV) shirt if they have one already. We have a limited number of shirts at no charge preferably for “new” volunteers to SCV.
- Saturday - water stations will be available for everyone at no charge; snacks will be available for purchase. Lunch to be provided for all day volunteers on Saturday.
