Earth Day Volunteer Activity at Exploration Green

Join your fellow aerospace partners in a hands-on restoration and improvement project in recognition of Earth Day. Volunteers of all ages are needed to assist in making improvements within Exploration Green's green spaces.
When: Saturday, April 25, 2015, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Where: The green space behind 1891 Neptune Lane, Houston 77062. Park on the street, near the bridge, and take the paved trail heading northeast. Meet at the nursery which is visible from the street.
What: Activities will include tree or wetlands nursery work, clearing grass from trails, developing mile marker sites along Exploration Green's six-mile trail and much more. Bring your work gloves, hat, sunscreen and lots of energy.

Exploration Green is a joint flood control,
recreation, conservation and environmental project of the Clear Lake City Water
Authority and the Exploration Green Conservancy. The Exploration Green Conservancy is
dedicated to creating, maintaining and operating the habitat restoration and
recreation facilities within Exploration Green while concurrently supporting
